Community Network (CN) is a proven technology, model and an approach, with success stories in connecting last mile communities, in absence of mainstream networks in network dark areas, and there are positive stories from India, Nepal, Tasmania, Spain, East Timor, Indonesia and from far and wide, world over. The Community Network Exchange (CNX) was launched in 2017 as an Asia-Pacific Regional platform where community network solution providers can share their learning, experience around regulatory, spectrum, licensing, technological barrier and challenges and opportunities around it, to build an alternative pathway for last mile sustainable connectivity and inclusion.
